PAL-A-ROO’S continues the Addison-Wesley Active Learning Series program in the three-year-old classroom with the age appropriate volume Active Learning for Threes.  Additionally in this class, we introduce our structured pre-school environment with the highly acclaimed The Letter People Preschool, a comprehensive beginning reading and language program.  This children’s anthology offers stories, poems, finger plays and songs to introduce children to a rich literary and cultural heritage.  The program includes big books and storyboards to provide a familiar and comfortable experience for children as they share stories in an environment that promotes development. Additionally, the program provides manipulatives that enhance learning and encourage children to experiment and to explore the world around them through interactive play.

PAL-A-ROO'S is pleased to offer a computer center, which is available during individual learning time.  Each child is encouraged to explore and experiment using the age appropriate software.

Although the class utilizes structured learning programs, the children are active, not passive participants.  Children have fun learning at PAL-A-ROO’S, where their day is filled with interesting programs, hands-on activities and, of course, ample time for free choice activities. At PAL-A-ROO’S we know that children, while naturally inquisitive and eager to achieve, sometimes just want to play.
