If you wish to enroll your child at Pal-A-Roo’s Child Development Center, we encourage you to call or stop by our University-area facility. A member of our management staff will be delighted to offer you a full tour of our facility and personally lead you through the enrollment process.
Upon enrollment, you will receive an information packet containing all the necessary forms and paperwork we will need before your child’s first day at Pal-A-Roo’s, in addition to our Parent Handbook that explains all of our policies and guidelines. The forms and paperwork in the informational packet are required by the NC Division of Child Development. If we do not receive them before your child’s first day, you will not be able to drop-off at Pal-A-Roo’s. These forms include:
- Your child’s personal information
- Emergency contact information
- A physical from a North Carolina physician
- A copy of your child’s up-to-date immunization record
- Special dietary or medical needs
- Any allergic reactions
When we determine your child’s exact start date, we create an enrollment guarantee to ensure your spot. At this time, you will be required to pay the annual registration fee and first week’s tuition in full. All enrolled children pay the annual registration fee in August. Depending on the time of year, management staff may postpone payment of the registration fee until the upcoming August.
Once enrollment begins, tuition is due on Monday at the start of every week. We accept checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for tuition payments. Many parents choose to pay in monthly increments, where tuition is due on the first day of each month. For part-time care, tuition is due on the first day of the week your child is scheduled to attend Pal-A-Roo’s.
Weekly tuition is due regardless of attendance; however, Pal-A-Roo’s offers two weeks at ½ the tuition rate that all families may apply after completing 90 days of enrollment. These two weeks allow for your family to go on vacation without paying full tuition for your spot at Pal-A-Roo’s. Understandably, this policy is extremely popular with our families!
