I know I mentioned this to you, but I really do want to take the opportunity to formally thank you and your staff for the wonderful fall festival. I know that efforts like that take a lot of planning, work, and effort on the part of many people. The dedication of your staff and their love of the kids is clear and obvious. That's one of the main things that makes us happy we found Pal-a-Roos. Thank you for providing such a special place for Nicholas to spend his days.

I am the proud parent of a child who recently transitioned out of Infant Room II and want to express my feelings about the staff who worked with my son in that room. My son, Malique, was given the highest quality of care that any one could give outside of me, of course. He was always neat and clean and his needs met. I never had to worry about him while I was working and his teachers were always thoughtful and caring. I have a ten year old child and never had this experience with the many daycare centers that she was a part of. Please keep up the excellent work. I would highly recommend this center to all parents who are seeking quality care.

P.S. Thanks Ms. Martha and Ms. Kristin!!!! You both do a great job!!!!

Thank you for opening and thereby making it possible for me to go to work on the Jan 3 "snow day". Normally, I would just blow it off, but my boss and I have this yankee image thing going and I didn't want him to think I was a whimp and couldn't get in!!! He laughed so hard when I walked in and said he knew I would be there!

Steve and I truly do appreciate you!

Diane - As you know, regretfully Jenny and Chrissy's last day at Pal-A-Roo's will be soon. We are moving to the south side of Charlotte where the children will be attending another center.

We are excited about the move but there is always the worry parents have about changing child care centers. We wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how much we appreciate the fine child development center you have created. Gary and I both work for family businesses and know the trials and tribulations of owning and running a business. We can still remember meeting you and your husband on a Saturday at Pal-A-Roo's while you were busy working. (We still see your cars there many weekends when we drive by.) You were gracious enough to show us your facility that day and tell us about Pal-A-Roo's. One look was all it took. To this day we feel that putting our children in your child development center was one of the best decisions we have ever made as parents.

The cleanliness, the dedication to excellence, the security, the facility itself and the wonderful teachers who have been part of Jenny & Chrissy's lives are many of the reasons why we think this is the best child care center in Charlotte. Gary has been to many child care centers in Charlotte as part of his work and of course it is natural to wonder if any of these places have anything better to offer our children than Pal-A-Roo's. The conclusion is that none of them come close to the excellence of Pal-A-Roo's. We appreciate the fact that you DEMAND the best and it is clearly seen in your establishment.

We are very proud of our children and owe a lot of their knowledge, attitude and social skills to the "top notch" teachers you employ. We know that good help is hard to find these days. You manage to pick the best out of a small crop. Hopefuly they know what a fine establishment they are working for and hopefully they know how much the parents appreciate all they do for the children.

The feeling of knowing our children are in a safe environment is worth more than words can express. Hopefully our new child care center will have the same demand for excellence and for a safe environment for our children. Time will tell.

I could write forever on the many compliments we could give to Pal-A-Roo's. If not for the hard work and dedication of owners like you, it would not be the place it is today. Many people do not realize how hard it is to run a successful business in today's society. We are certain that your facility will continue to be the best child care center in Charlotte. It certainly deserves the recognition.

Again, please accept our deepest gratitude for the "home" you have given our children and for the opportunity you have given them for a premium education. Many thanks to you!!

My daughter graduated from your Pre-K program this past summer. The formal cap and gown ceremony was both heart warming and so much fun to watch!!

I want to thank you for the preparation you provided her. You do not get enough credit for your Pre-K program. She is head and shoulders above anyone in her Kindergarten class at CMS. I wish I could take the credit, but I firmly believe the formal preparation she received through your curriculum as well as the social skills she learned while at PAL-A-ROO'S are the primary reasons. I know other parents who have children who are graduates of the PAL-A-ROO'S Pre-K program and all have had a similar experience. You are definitely the top Early Childhood Education Center in the area.

Thank you so much for giving my child such a jump start on life - and keep doing what you're doing because you do it like no other!!

We were transferred to another city a few months ago which required my children to leave Pal-a-Roos. Let me tell you, you are a hard act to follow!!

We have not been able to find a center that remotely approaches the quality of Pal-a-Roos. It is easy to not realize what you had until it is gone. We miss the loving staff who greeted Michael and Ashley everyday with hugs and kisses. It was a great feeling when our children did not want to leave at the end of the day. And the facility, what can I say, your activity center/gym is larger than the entire outdoor playgrounds at most centers not to mention the large classrooms and huge playground area. I know we will likely never find another Pal-a-roos but hopefully we can find something acceptable. The people of Charlotte are fortunate to have a center who's owners are dedicated to such excellence.

Thank you for all the loving and teaching you provided my children over the past years. We miss you, Pal-a-Roos!!

We just wanted to take an opportunity to say thank you for all you do to make Pal-A-Roo's such a special place. We truly appreciate your commitment and dedication to all the families.

Our family has been part of the center for the past year now and we are very grateful to be here. We were reminded of how grateful we are after running into a friend who's children still attend the daycare from which we transferred before joining Pal-A-Roo's. She expressed great concern over the loss of yet another director and many, many teachers. She is forming a parent group to try to address the many concerns they have over the poor operation and direction of their center.

All we could think of was, WOW!, we have been ASKED to join a parent group by our center's leadership to discuss such things as community involvement, special events, etc.

While we are certain you face many of the same challenges other centers face, we know you are there for us everyday dedicating yourselves to making a difference for lots of other families. We know this in part because we see you cars out front most weekends going above and beyond.

So again, we say THANKS!!!

Over a year and half ago Steve and I moved to Charlotte. Upon reflecting on all the changes/opportunities that have made their way into our lives, one of the things we are sure of is that we selected the premier early childhood education center in the area. Words cannot describe how satisfied we are with the relationship we have built with you. As you can imagine, initially it was difficult to leave our children every day with people you virtually just met. However within weeks, we felt as though we were as welcome as those individuals who have been part of the "Pal-A-Roos family" for years!

Special thanks to Kristi and Mindy for giving Leigh Ann a greater sense of self-worth and higher level of confidence. Your names are constantly heard over the weekend making it clear that she truly is "at home". Thank you for being such an important part of her life.

Also a special thanks to Tamika, Amanda and Natalie for giving Kelly the nuturing love and abundance of hugs that she needs while we're not with her. We cannot believe all she has learned in the past year. YOU are an integral piece of her development!

And to Diane, the owner - thank you for your vision that has become Pal-A-Roo's and which gives all of us parents peace of mind.

Thank you very much for: 1. Greeting us every morning with a big smile and hugs 2. Saying goodbye in the afternoons with more hugs and kisses to go home with till the next day 3. Taking that extra moment out of your busy day to make us feel like we are the only ones in the world that matters 4. Expressing any concerns and comments to us about our kids 5. Making my children feel special in everyway 6. Being great people!

Again, thank you for you smiles, kisses, hugs, caring thoughts, teaching, homework help for Gabrielle, listening to me go on and on about nothing and making us laugh and wanting to come back the next day for more.

I wanted to thank all of the staff for the enormous amount of thought and hard work that they put into Graduation for the Pre-K class. It was obvious that a lot of planning and just plain old fun went into the program. The children were so proud (not to mention we parents!!), and the songs and the egg and the balloon "ceremony" were great. Katherine is so very happy there, and every day I see progress that just amazes me. I know that she'll be more ready for Kindergarten in the fall, because Mrs. Rose and Miss Julie and all of the other Pre-K teachers have prepared her well--not just for school, but for LIFE!! Many many thanks from a grateful and pleased mommy!

I just wanted to give you and your staff kudos for having such a fine facility. Although I have never visited your facility in person, I am a frequent visitor over the internet. Although I know outer appearance isn't everything, it surely makes me feel better as a concerned aunt to see my nephew in such a clean and healthy environment. My nephew is Victor Jackson in the Infant 2 Room. I appreciate the chance to see him everyday since I live so far away. Thanks to the technological advances inside your daycare, I am able to watch him grow almost on a daily basis. Keep up the good work and thank you.

I wanted to thank Martha, Maria and Danielle for all they did for Noah while he was in the Infant Two room. Their love and attention has helped tremendously in his development so far and making him the happy, outgoing baby he has become. Their positive attitudes and feedback contributed greatly to making my day easier working across town from Noah during the day. They are quick to focus on Noah with a smile when he arrives and departs day care. The Infant Two teachers have been a life saver for me! Thanks again!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all Pal-a-roos' employees for being at work despite the threats of Hurricane Floyd. I know of one day care in Charlotte that announced at 4:30 p.m. they would close the next day because Mecklenburg County schools were closing. Thank you for waiting to assess the situation prior to making an announcement that affects so many people. I really appreciate you being there, so that I may go to work also.

My son is 4 years old, and he began attending Pal-a-roos almost 6 months ago. We are very pleased with this top notch day care facility. My experiences in dealing with the teachers and the office staff have been wonderful. What a rarity to find all this caring in one place. I can tell that my son is very happy at Pal-a-roos! My two year old is on the waiting list also. What a great daycare. Thanks!!!!

Diane and Palaroos team members, I'm not sharing anything new with you when I comment on how uneasy I was about leaving Mykaela with anyone other myself for care. After going through an early labor/birth and bringing home a 41/2 pound Mykaela, I became a little more than "normally first time parent concerned" about leaving her in "daycare". You have definately allowed my concerns to fade and your execellent facility, positive/caring attitude, professional teachers and internet site have enabled me to go to work and get through the day at ease knowing she is in such good care. Thank you for listening, and for giving Mykaela the best care she can receive in the Charlotte Day Care community.

I am very pleased with the care David receives at Pal-a-roos. Listed below are some of the things I really appreciate: 1. Anytime I have a concern I can go to Michelle, Diane or Crystal and they always listen to my concerns and truly appear to be concerned. They also follow-up, explain the situtation and correct it in a very timely manner.

2. I have to mention Arlene in the waddler room. She always greets and hugs David everytime she sees him and I know she truly loves him and all the children she cares for. It means so much to me that David is receiving hugs at Pal-a-roos. Arlene is a very special lady.

3. Also since David has moved to the young Twos he is so much happier when we drop him off in the morning and I think it is due to the way Tina greets the children. She always says good morning, smiles and holds out her arms to hug them. This makes such a difference during drop-off. I wish all the teaches did this consistently during drop-off.

Michele and all the office staff are always friendly and greets me with a smile. It is also great to see the owner visible & participating in the care. I can't say enough about Shelly, Dana and Kelly. They are terrific. We also appreciate their suggestions.

We feel great leaving Michael at PAL-A-ROO'S. Everyone there does a terrific job. We think it's really nice that the teachers know his name whose class he hasn't even been in yet. We couldn't be happier with the care that he receives daily. We have told friends who have daycare needs how great it is at PAL-A-ROO'S!
